Real-time asset tracking application using mapping technology. In the actual application, every aircraft (private and commercial), as well as baggage cart drivers, can be seen and inspected to get information on their activity, status, passengers, bags, connecting flights and more. The geographical data was created almost entirely from scratch with a very high level of detail using the latest satellite imagery. The concepts behind this app as a tool for fleet management, asset tracking, and location intelligence was a ground-breaking concept that would eliminate many of the problems the airline was encountering like on-time departures, missing/delayed bags, and employee accountability. This application essentially provides the user with a complete virtual view of their airport and all the activity taking place.  It was the first digital geographic information system built at American Airlines for their hubs and continues to be an incredible tool used to plan, track, and visualize the numerous processes of the airline.
